How to download and install ArtCraft
All seven apps ship from the project's official GitHub releases. Here is the safe path — and the traps to avoid.
Step 1 — Go to the official source
Search GitHub for the ArtCraft project by the developer (Brandon Thomas) — searching "ArtCraft GitHub" on Google lands you on the right repo. Everything below assumes you are on the official repository, not a mirror.
Step 2 — Pick the latest release
Open the Releases section and take the newest version — updates are frequent and each one carries real fixes. Release notes list which apps changed; if you only need PhotoCraft, you can grab just its installer instead of the full suite.
Step 3 — Install
- Windows: run the installer (or unpack the portable build) and launch — no account, no activation.
- Check the release notes for other platforms; availability evolves quickly.
Step 4 — Verify and stay safe
- Only download from the official repo — viral open-source projects attract fake "download sites" that bundle adware.
- If a site asks for payment or an account for a "free download", it is not ArtCraft. Close the tab.
- Watch release notes for checksums when security matters to you.
Step 5 — First-run tips
Start with one app that matches work you already do (photo editing? PhotoCraft). Import a real file, do a real task, and judge it on your own workload — that is the only benchmark that matters.
